The Shoyoroll Comp Edition 20.1 (CE 20.1) represents a significant structural evolution in Shoyoroll's staple competition lineup.
Originally released in January 2020, the CE 20.1 maintains the clean, highly respected aesthetic of the Comp Standard series while introducing critical updates to the cut and feel. Accentuated with bold new embroidered logos across both shoulders, the most notable advancements are in its tailoring. The gi features a slightly tapered fit in the hips and leg openings, alongside a redesigned inner waist enclosure to prevent the drawstring from escaping. Furthermore, the knee pad structure has been entirely updated with a more ergonomic pattern, delivering unparalleled mobility and an overall improved fit.
Built for daily rigors and competition, the Comp Edition 20.1 BJJ gi combines a high-performance Pearl Weave Pro top with durable, lightweight Cotton Blend pants.

Wash Cold: Machine wash cold with like colors. Turn the gi inside out to protect patches and embroidery.

Hang Dry: Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. High heat shrinks the gi and breaks down the fabric faster.

Long
Same width as the base size, with extra length. For example, A1L has A1 width with A2-style length.
Husky
Base-size length with more room through the cut. For example, A2H has A2 length with A3-style width.

Yes. Our Competitor-line gis are cut to IBJJF specs with legal colors, correct sleeve and pant length, and durable pearl weave that passes the gi check. For tournaments, choose a snug size from our chart, then wash cold and hang dry to lock in the fit before competition day.
Wash cold with like colors and hang dry to prevent shrinking and fading. Add half a cup of white vinegar to fight odor, and never use bleach. Avoid the dryer unless you are intentionally shrinking a gi that runs large. With proper care, a quality gi lasts years of hard rolls.
Orders take 2-3 days to process before they ship. Once your order leaves our facility, delivery takes 6-7 business days depending on your location. You will receive tracking information by email as soon as it ships, so you can follow your new gear right to your door.
